Alien Rides is proud to offer an industry leading two year comprehensive warranty from the date of product arrival. This warranty applies to any PEVs sold on our website, it does not apply to accessories, chargers, parts, performance parts and vehicles sold under the RION and Tronic brand (See Performance Vehicle Warranty below).

Before shipping out your order, we always perform quality assurance checks for function and damage. Once your new vehicle arrives inspect it, as damage during shipment is still a possibility.

Modifications

1Consumables include tires, inner tubes, brake components (including brake pads, brake calipers and brake levers), suspension components , hand grips and other similar items. Flat tires are not covered under warranty.

2EUC Motor bearings and shock internals, shock pump are also considered a consumable item but we will cover bearing swaps for the first six months.

3Mis-use and mishandling includes, but is not limited to: damage from fast charging, damage from exceeding the vehicle's weight and/or speed, misuse of the battery, or improper maintenance (the battery should not be stored at empty or full charge for long periods of time.)

4When customer bricks their firmware on an EUC or Scooter / PEV we need to have you call/email in and do some troubleshooting. There is a way with some wheels to force an update (Begode). We may require you to ship in your old board so we can flash it in-house with Firmware updating hardware. This may take a few days plus transit. For those who choose to modify firmware with third-party firmware, this will void all Alien Rides warranty.  Customer may be liable for complete replacement if the wrong firmware is uploaded without consulting Alien Rides.

5Tronic Vesc controllers have a 30-day warranty provided by Tronic Controllers/RION in Los Angeles, California.  3Shul Controllers Have a 1 year as of writing this.  Must submit warranty and then be approved by 3shul.  Using improper settings, or failing to properly tune your motor before ramping up settings will void your warranty.  We are happy to have a remote tune session for 3shul controllers prior to going above 50 percent rated settings.   A Vesc controller will rarely blow with properly tuned motor settings.  It is very easy to blow a controller if you don't have sensors set up and give too much power.  Please be careful and ask for help prior to just sending it :)

6Fast chargers have only 12 month warranty. Customer must ship back for RMA/Warranty inspection. If it is determined that charger was blown due to improper use (240/120V selector switch) we will void warranty.

7Brake pads are consumable and not covered under warranty. Defects in the brake lever or caliper, such as leaks, may be covered for the first 60 days only, they are not covered after the first 60 days.

We have many customers bring in their wheels with modifications for additional loads on battery such as audio or lights. If you use a third party light that draws power from any 5V/12V or main battery buss line, all warranty for electrical components will be void.

Alien Rides will provide remote diagnostic and guidance services to fix your PEV once you have the parts that we send. We can also compensate you for local repairs when a quote is approved in advance. When video guidance is not desired, we will repair your PEV free of charge at the warehouse. For domestic orders where this is necessary, we will require the customer to pay for one-way shipping, and we will pay to ship it back.

Due to high shipping costs, for warranty parts for customers out of the continental United States, customers are liable for shipping.

When you are shipping in a vehicle for warranty service, any 3rd party accessories that impede service will be billed at $200 hr for removal. Any rusted bolts, pedals, or bent/damaged parts due to rain and heavy use, or additional add-ons that may impede our staff on routine repairs will also be billed at the $200 hr rate.   (main culprits are large aftermarket 3d printed pads, panels, bent pedal rods, and stripped bolts)

We try to stock a variety of parts, but occasionally parts will run out. We will do our best to order these parts from the manufacturer.

Our warranty is transferable a single time, but the original owner must notify us of any transfer details, and we must register the warranty under the new owner.  We will not proceed with a warranty request until this process is requested via the original purchaser

All original parts must be returned and inspected before any warranty claims will be processed.

For warranty claims, please fill out the below form and we will be in touch ASAP.
